The cast for the musical is yet to be announced, although Cher did say in 2014 (NY Post): 'I could play the old Cher quite well'.

The show chronicles the life of the music legend and includes hits like "I Got You Babe", "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves" and "If I Could Turn Back Time".

According to Playbill, these stages are represented through the characters of Babe (Cher's early life with Sonny Bono), Lady (the artist's successful solo career) and Star (the Cher we know today). Aside from the center-stage star, appearances by other characters, including Sonny Bono, David Geffen, Bob Mackie, Robert Altman and Sigmund Freud seem inevitable.
