Ed Sheeran's Carpool Karaoke revealed some of his hidden talents

Posted June 07, 2017

Ed and James sang-along on numerous Grammy winner's hits including "Shape of You" and "Sing" and "Castle on the Hill". And though Sheeran rules at putting people to sleep, this segment was definitely worth staying up for-if nothing else, in order to hear Sheeran's anecdote about the time he accidentally whacked Justin Bieber across the face with a golf club.

The pair also discussed Ed Sheeran's year off, and the singer said that he no longer has a cell phone anymore.

When talk show host James Corden announced that he was going back to his home turf London, fans of the Late Late Show were excited with the very famous and British guest list he had lined up.

'[It was] just him, no security or anything, he came to this really, really filthy dive bar.

"I don't know how you've done that, Corden said, laughing uproariously". "I feel like God looked down on me and was like, 'You need help getting laid, mate'".

During the drive, they sang a reworked version of Castle on the Hill to address the L.A. traffic, plus covers of One Direction's What Makes You Beautiful and Love Yourself, a song he co-wrote with Justin Bieber.

In fact, during "Shape of You", things get kinda sultry, with Sheeran touching Corden's leg and the latter grinding in his auto seat.

"I cracked him across the face!"

James Corden went full Brit for his latest installment of Carpool Karaoke!

He told James Corden during his Carpool Karaoke: '[Justin was] actually really cool about it, surprisingly'.

The artist explained that he didn't see what would be amusing about being in a vehicle singing his songs, but once he pulled out his guitar he admitted he felt much more comfortable.
