Ghaziabad students get high scores in CBSE class 10 results

The board had first declared the results of five regions - Delhi, Allahabad, Chennai, Trivandrum and Dehradun. The pass percentage in the Central Board of Secondary Education's class 10 result fell to 90.95% from 96.21% previous year, registering a dip of 5.26%.

All the candidates who have appeared in Class 10th examinations conducted by CBSE are now eagerly waiting for their results. The pass percentage for school-based exam results stood at 94.02 per cent, while it was 94.78 per cent for board-based tests. If students come across any issue in the result, they may report it to the Board immediately.

Even in Tamil Nadu, the second best performing state, from 1,78,468 students, a staggering 1,77,784 students qualified, taking the pass percentage for the state to 99.62 per cent.

The Board will issue the mark sheets and pass certificates to the students on website, but it is still advised to the students to save the mark statement obtained online. A student of Manav Mangal School, Chandigarh, Vishal did not let the paucity of funds take him away from his goal. The reason being that the students were given a choice whether to opt for the boards in their 10th or appear for school-based exams. Among Mumbai students, Mridula Subramanian secured the highest scores in the exam with 99.6 per cent.

CBSE Class X Results 2017: After a long wait, CBSE 10th Results 2017 are declared. Results are out for all the regions with Bhubaneswar registering a pass percentage of 92.15. School principal Vandana Saxena said, "We have risen from average to above average and from mediocrity to excellence".
