New 'Game of Thrones' trailer leaks before San Diego Comic-Con panel

From there we get brief glimpses of what's to come from all the major players, including an exiled Melsandre who seems to be having a very interesting conversation with the Mother of Dragons. One thing is for certain, though: Sophie Turner can not see herself in a comedy after all of the dark work she has done in Game of Thrones. Answering the same question, Bradley joked that the character he most regretted being killed was Jon Snow, because it led to an entire year of the cast being asked whether Jon was actually dead.

As for the future of their relationship, she said, "He's the military man, she's the politician, but I think they need to realize that they need to stop fighting and start working together".

"But I think she's finding it incredibly awkward, but underneath that awkwardness there's always that secret enjoyment", she quipped.

Gwendoline Christie was another highlight performer on the panel, often forced to speak on the matter of Tormund Giantsbane's (Kristofer Hivju) increasing infatuation with Brienne.

To the absolute delight of fans, the panel was moderated by Kristian Nairn, better known as the universally adored Hodor, whose heartbreaking death rocked Season 6. She had been sticking to his side post-resurrection - but right before the Battle of the Bastards, Jon's new right hand man Davos discovered her role in Shireen Baratheon's death.

Epic is a word that gets thrown around a lot these days, but with Game of Thrones, the term really is appropriate. When the two come together, making good use of the ice and fire of their family names, they create a lovely song in the face of the impending war. She couldn't say much as it will obviously be a big part of the current season.

"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 P.M. on HBO. "She's woke now guys, she's real woke", Turner said. He promised a relaxed and informal tone for the panel, and he delivered, asking his colleagues to reflect on their characters' quieter moments, which cast members they miss the most ("Cough Hodor cough", Nairn even said at various points), and more.
