Celebrating the occasion, 2K is releasing a special collector's edition for those in the United States, with pre-orders available now.
For those unaware, today officially marks the 10-year anniversary of the BioShock series, as the original title in the franchise debuted on August 21, 2007, and 2K Games has made a decision to commemorate the date by announcing the availability of an Anniversary Collector's Edition that costs $200 in total. According to 2K, the model will include lights in addition to a motorized drill, as well as audio clips of both characters from the game.
There's also a special party coming up at PAX West 2017, where 2K Games will be hosting a BioShock 10th anniversary celebration on September 2. The Collection consists of remastered versions of BioShock and BioShock 2 (minus its multiplayer), as well as BioShock Infinite. There will also be a cosplay contest where participants will be able to win lavish prizes.
You don't need a PAX ticket to attend - this massive fan celebration is open to the public, so whether you're planning to attend the convention or just happen to be in the Seattle area, join us for what's sure to be an unforgettable evening for anyone who loves BioShock.
