Carpool Karaoke: The Series Now Available on Apple Music

Posted August 10, 2017

A series based on The Late Late Show host James Corden's popular "Carpool Karaoke" segment launched last night on Apple Music, the tech conglomerate's music and video streaming service.

The Apple Music Carpool Karaoke spinoff series debuted yesterday (Aug. 8) with Corden sharing a ride with Will Smith. Each episode features an unexpected celebrity pairing sharing a vehicle, singing along to their personal playlists, and embarking on adventures.

Apple has described the show as "a star-studded, song-filled vehicle ride" in which "each episode features an unexpected celebrity pairing sharing a auto, singing along to their personal playlists, and embarking on adventures".

During the episode Smith revealed that he only pretended to recognise Corden during their first meeting.

The late Chester Bennington's wife, Talinda, has expressed her gratitude to James Corden, for allowing the Linkin Park frontman's family to have final say over his forthcoming 'Carpool Karaoke' appearance.

The premiere episode of Carpool Karaoke is twenty minutes and features James Corden and Will Smith. "The only answer I know is to raise our babies with every ounce of love I have left". "He told me that he felt confident that I had the ears for the role", Smith joked. I've talked to Barack about it.

There's also some tantalizingly quick shots of other things Smith and Corden are doing together, like crashing a wedding photo shoot and taking on R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" from a helicopter. Executive producer and showrunner Eric Pankowski agrees.

Miley Cyrus, John Legend and Ariana Grande are among the stars who will feature in the online show.
