TU ranks among top universities in the world

The magazine also rated the undergraduate business programs of national universities based on surveys of business school deans and senior faculty. The six-year graduation rate for baccalaureate students is 67 percent. The rankings, released today, include more than 310 national doctoral universities and will be included in the 2018 edition of America's Best Colleges. Seven more Indian universities ranked in the range of 801-1000.

The two most competitive schools in the UC system tied for the 21st spot in the 2018 national list, which is closely watched by schools and families.

The U.S. News rankings compare more than 1,800 schools nationally on up to 15 areas of academic quality, such as class size, standardized test scores of incoming students and average graduation rate. "Uncovering new talents and honing their abilities through opportunities such as undergraduate research and specialized leadership programs allow TU students to thrive in college, in their careers and in the world", he said. AMONG THE NATION'S TOP 20 FOR CO-OP AND INTERNSHIPS UC's overall emphasis on experience-based education earned the university placement on the list of the nation's best 20 schools for co-ops and internships.

Mount St. Joseph University also dropped about 10 spots for the second year in a row to 87 among regional universities in the Midwest.

Undergraduate programs in the Hankamer School of Business ranked No. 64, tied with 13 other universities, while the business school's undergraduate entrepreneurship program is rated No. 12 in the nation.

Among Texas colleges, Dallas Baptist University took the biggest climb in the rankings, rising from 214 in the USA last year to 202 this year.

DePaul University rose to No. 120 from No. 124 previous year.

Miami University and the University of Cincinnati continue to rise in U.S. News & World Report rankings.
