Nubia, the sub brand of Xiaomi is working on some new smartphones. There is no difference in the OS, the same Android Nougat 7.1.1 and the Nubia UI 5.0 over it run this device.

Even though that sound a bit ridiculous, but I guess everyone is entitled to their own perspectives, even if they are irrational. There's also a variant with 6GB of LP-DDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage.

Talking about specs, the Nubia Z17S comes with specs including a 5.73-inch LTPS TFT display tagged with a screen resolution of 1080×2040 pixels, Snapdragon 835 processor, Nubia UI 5.1 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 sensor paired coupled with 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor that offers up to 2x optical zoom and dual-tone LED flash. Keeping the phone going through the day is a 3,100mAh battery that supports fast charging, with the company promising 50 percent in just 25 minutes of charge.

Nubia Z17S and Z17 miniS featuring four camera solution launched in China with new 5.73-inch 18:9 aspect ratio screen. It's powered by the Snapdragon 653, and features a massive 6 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 64 GB of storage, albeit without the option for a MicroSD. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device. Both the smartphones feature on-screen navigation buttons and a fingerprint scanner for biometric security (Rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Nubia Z17S model and Front-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Nubia Z17 miniS model). The smartphone will be available for pre-orders in China from today and official sale begins from October 19. Available colors are Deep Blue, Black Gold, and Aegean Blue. The front camera is 16MP + 5MP.

On the inside, the device is fueled by the same Snapdragon 835 SoC as its predecessor coupled with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. As you can assume from the name, it's a trimmed down variant of the Nubia Z17S. On the front, the smartphone also houses dual front-facing camera setup, which includes one 16-megapixel primary sensor with 80-degree wide angle lens and an f/2.0 aperture, and one 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture. The handset measures 147.46 x 72.69 x 8.5 mm and weighs 170 grams.
