'SNL' premiere: Baldwin's Trump slams San Juan mayor, National Football League protesters

Ms Cruz declined to engage in the tit-for-tat, instead calling for a united focus on the people who need help.

The more light shed on the politically motivated criticism from San Juan Mayor Carmin Yulin Cruz, the more her complaints appear to be much ado about nothing.

On Friday, tears in her eyes, she begged Washington to send more assistance, saying: "You're killing us with inefficiency".

On Saturday, Kim Kardashian West offered President Trump some advice - from one reality star to another.

From there, Che recounted the ongoing tensions between Trump and San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz, quoting his earlier tweet in which he claimed that Cruz was told by fellow Democrats that she should be "nasty" towards Trump.

"I will do what I never thought I was going to do".

Cruz complained in multiple interviews about the USA administration's response to the crisis in Puerto Rico. They want everything to be done for them when it should be a community effort.

Now that Puerto Rico was addressed, Trump continued the discussion not on football (to our surprise) but on North Korea, insisting that our "wonderful secretary of state" not waste time worrying about "Little Rocket Man". I am begging, begging anyone who can hear us to save us from dying.

The president is scheduled to travel to Puerto Rico on Tuesday after Hurricanes Maria, Harvey and Irma tore through the region in the last two months.

But on Saturday, Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) officials reported that a third of the island's telecommunications network had been restored, and some 765 gas stations - well over half - had fuel, though it was not clear how much.

Cruz, who has appeared regularly on USA cable news programs, was particularly pointed in rejecting a statement by acting Homeland Security secretary, Elaine Duke, who called the government's response "a good news story in terms of our ability to reach people and the limited number of deaths that have taken place".

Take a look at the president's Puerto Rico commentary.

"Trust me, I know things aren't as the locals say, 'despacito, '" Baldwin responds, telling her that help will be on the way by sometime next week.
