YouTube TV is coming to Xbox One

Now, it'll be available through the YouTube TV app for actual big screen TVs.

Last month, Google dropped support for YouTube on the Echo Show, Amazon's first Echo device that features a touchscreen and debuted this summer. Those devices will include over-the-top products like Roku and Apple TV, as well as smart TV makers like Samsung, LG, and Sony, among others. One thing that YouTube TV has been lacking that its competitors like PlayStation Vue and Hulu have is a dedicated app for your television. Today, the team at Google has revealed they will be releasing a dedicated Android TV application for those who are subscribed to their YouTube TV service. For a service as important as YouTube TV, it was odd to see Google ignore their TV platform at launch. There are now a variety of ways to watch TV right on your mobile devices.

A new Live guide made for your big screen so you can get a sneak-peek at what's airing soon. The app background has been made dark on TVs for a cinematic look.

YouTube TV launched in April, allowing you to stream live sports, local and national news, and more on your phone, tablet, and computer.

"If you love the simplicity of finding your favorite content on the mobile app, you'll be happy to know you'll still find our signature tabs on the TV app as well-home, live and library", Ikhena wrote.

Easily pick up where you left off on another device when you get home. In a blog post on Monday, Google announced that an app for smart TVs, gaming consoles and streaming devices will arrive on Android TV devices - smart TVs with Android built-in and the Nvidia Shield - as well as Xbox One consoles "in the next few days".
