OJ Simpson Banned From Hotel In Las Vegas After Alleged Drunken Incident

TMZ said he frequented the bars at the Cosmopolitan, one of Vegas' high-end casinos that opened when Simpson was in prison, since he was released.

Simpson was paroled from a prison in the state after serving nine years in prison for armed robbery and assault with a weapon. He was booted from his Las Vegas hotel after allegedly causing a scene. Around midnight he was heard exchanging angry words with the hotel staff, and he then began breaking glasses, according to celebrity website TMZ.

The recently released ex-NFL star was cordial to security, but he has since been permanently banned from the hotel, sources claimed.

LaVergne says Simpson was not given a reason for the ban. We're told Simpson was nice to responding security guards.

But KABC in Las Vegas is reporting that according to a witness account, Simpson was not drunk and that even though others in his party drank wine, he abstained.

Prosecutors said that Simpson led a group of men who used threats, guns and force to take photographs, footballs and other items from memorabilia dealers Bruce Fromong and Al Beardsley on September 13, 2007.

He denied that Simpson was intoxicated or belligerent while at the Las Vegas Strip property.

The former National Football League was famously acquitted for his wife's murder back in 1994.
