Pogba predicted Martial return

The France worldwide picked up a hamstring injury in United's Champions League win over Basel in September.

The French worldwide started the season in brilliant fashion and in his absence, Herrera has not been able to step up.

Manchester United have lost two of their last three Premier League games and are now eight points behind league leaders and neighbors Manchester City. Since then Jose Mourinho's side have lost to the likes of Huddersfield and Chelsea.

Pogba was correct with his prediction and Martial will look to impress in the two fixtures with his country before returning to Premier League duty when Newcastle United provide the opposition at Old Trafford.

As well as contributing to attacking phases of the game, the statistics also show Pogba's importance to his side's defence.

And one person in particular who seemed delighted to see Pogba in the changing room after Les Bleus' victory over the Welsh was Atletico Madrid star Griezmann, who embraced his friend and shared a video of the meeting on his Instagram account, complete with heart eye emojis in the caption. In fact, the official Twitter account for Equipe de France shared a video of Pogba being greeted by his worldwide colleagues after the game.

Pogba provides a different handshake for nearly every player in the France squad that he greets.

A report from the Daily Mail states that Paul Pogba, Michael Carrick and Marcos Rojo have all trained with United's reserve squad during the worldwide break, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic not far off a return to team training either.

United's club-record signing was also joined in a reserve team session on Wednesday by Michael Carrick and Marcos Rojo, who are working on their recoveries.

Manchester United have been boosted with returns of multiple names from the treatment room during the global break.

The French worldwide has been slowly working his way back to full fitness over the past two months but Pogba is now intensifying his work-load and should be in the squad to face Newcastle on November 18.
