Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will appear as characters in Injustice 2

Posted November 12, 2017

The Atom will be out in early access - included with the pre-purchased pack or "Ultimate Edition" versions of Injustice 2 - on December 12, with the other fighters to be released not long after. While Injustice 2 players already had a heads up that Atom was on the way and had strong reason to believe Enchantress would join the game, the third character included in the reveal came as a major surprise. You'll be able to buy them separately, or if you want all the DLC characters in one sweep you can pick up the Ultimate Edition of the game.

If you haven't seen the original reveal yet, the previous trailer can be seen here. Shattering everyone's predictions and hopes of Rorschach or Constantine arriving as a new fighter, Fighter Pack 3 adds the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into the mix, alongside The Atom and Enchantress. The heroes in a half-shell are now joining the DC fighting game.

NetherRealm Studios just gave us our first look at the latest newcomers coming to Injustice 2 in the game's Fighter Pack 3 reveal trailer.

Although there hasn't been any gameplay of them in action yet, we're guessing that one of the Ninja Turtles will be the main on-screen character, with the others jumping in and out of battle to execute special moves or lend a hand in combos.

It's not long now until it finally releases anyway, it's out on 14 November. The PC release will include all previously released DLC for the game on the console versions available at purchase.
