Salman on Friday shared a photograph of himself along with Anil and producer Ramesh Taurani holding hands with each other. The Dabangg actor took to his Twitter handle and broke the news to the world, captioning, "Inke aane se Race3 ka cast aur ho gaya jhakas @AnilKapoor @RameshTaurani #Race3".
Anil Kapoor has now joined the ensemble cast of Race 3 along with Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Race 3 has already been hyped for months after it was announced that Salman would be leading the cast, after Saif Ali Khan dropped out of the project.
Upcoming action film Race 3 has been garnering a lot of attention because of its star cast. Salman and Anil had worked together in movies, including "Deewana Mastana", "Biwi No. 1", "No Entry", "Salaam-E-Ishq" and "Yuvvraaj". The third Race film is a series reboot with all new faces, (now) except for Anil Kapoor. He played the role of a detective Ameesh Patel as her naive assistant.
Anil, 60, was also a part of the first film, which featured him as Robert D'Costa aka R D.
Directed by Remo D'Souza, Race 3 might have Anil reprising his role of a amusing cop Robert D'Costa who brought some lighter moments in the otherwise intense narrative. The movie has begun shooting, and has been scheduled to be released on 4 May 2018.
