BlackBerry promises "at least" two new smartphones in 2018

The KeyOne has an excellent physical keyboard that appeals to BlackBerry fans young and old, while the Motion combines the very best of BlackBerry's security features with a long battery life in a touchscreen phone.

In addition, TCL introduced a new version of the highly-acclaimed BlackBerry KEYone smartphone, the so-called Bronze Edition.

The first new product TCL is planning on introducing is the GSM unlocked, BlackBerry Motion, set to come to U.S markets beginning January 12 - the device will be available online at Amazon and, retailing for $449.99 Dollars.

In fact, the global rollout continues with variants of BlackBerry KEYone newly released in Mexico and South Korea. According to TCL, BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition will go on sale later in Q1 2018 in select markets mentioned earlier for a price that will be disclosed later on.

The company has confirmed that it's going to launch at least two new BlackBerry smartphones this year.

TCL's also bringing the previously launched BlackBerry Motion to USA shores and pricing it at $449.99.

For those interested in the product, the BlackBerry Motion is expected to land in the States on January 12 as a GSM unlocked model (will work on AT&T and T-Mobile, but not Sprint and Verizon). The mid-range smartphone has a 5.5-inch FHD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 system-on-chip, 4GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage, water and dust resistance, and the promise of an Android 8.0 Oreo update "later this year".
