Falkholt critical, life support turned off

The Home And Away actress has been fighting for her life since a Boxing Day vehicle crash on the NSW South Coast killed her parents Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60, and younger sister Annabelle, 21. Jessica was sent to St. George's Hospital, and has undergone multiple surgeries including having part of her skull and a kidney removed.

She now remains in critical condition, a hospital spokeswoman has confirmed.

Her parents, Lars and Vivian, were killed in the crash.

The news comes two days after Jessica's three family members were farewelled at a funeral at St Mary's Catholic Church in Concord.

Jessica's parents Lars, 69 and Vivian, 60 died instantly at the scene.

Both Jessica and Annabelle were pulled from the burning wreckage and taken to hospitals.

Officers could not confirm if Whitall, who also died at the scene, had been using his mobile phone at the time of the crash, according to the Daily Telegraph.

28 year old Jessica Falkholt has been clinging to life since her family's auto collided head-on with a 4WD driven by a man we now know was on his way home from a methadone clinic.

Home And Away actress Jessica Falkholt is said to still be in a critical condition despite being taken off life support.

News.com.au report that Mr. Ponticello told the service: "The irony of the tragedy is that Lars was such a careful driver".

"Whenever he'd ask to drive somewhere - I'd suggest a time for an average driver and add on some additional time for the "Lars factor" because he was so careful".

It was the third serious crash between Berry and Ulladulla in recent weeks, including the one in which the Falkholt family were killed. We always had a good laugh.

"It has just been a horrific crash and everything the community expects us to do to keep them safe hasn't worked in this instance", she said. You will always be remembered and in our hearts forever.

Jessica has starred in the Australian film Harmony, which is set for release in early 2018.
