According to Deadline, the 13-year-old Stranger Things actress will star and produce a new film series about Enola Holmes, the 14-year-old little sis to Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes. The series spanned six books, the first being The Case of the Missing Marquees. Numerous classic characters from Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes stories also appear in the novels, and all three of the Holmes siblings play a role in the sixth and final book, The Case of the Gypsy Goodbye.
In the series, Sherlock is already a famed detective while Enola, 20 years younger, is still at home being raised by their mother. This book and the fifth book, The Case of the Cryptic Crinoline, earned Sprinder nominations for Edgar Awards in 2007 and 2010.
Brown, of course, broke through with her role as Eleven on Netflix's Stranger Things, but she's fast establishing a big screen career for herself as well.
Overseeing the project for Legendary Pictures are Alex Garcia and Ali Mendes. Besides the material, I think a lot of people would just love to watch Millie Bobby Brown do her thing.
