UCF fans put up billboard in Tuscaloosa asking for series with Alabama

The party, which will include a pep rally for the self-proclaimed national champions, is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and is expected to last three hours.

It certainly would be fun to see how UCF would stack up against the Crimson Tide, but that won't happen this season. Auburn, coincidentally, is the only team that beat the Tide in their title-winning season.

UCF fans continued to troll the college football world when they put up a billboard asking Alabama for a home and home series.

The billboard reads: "Congratulations Alabama!" Then, underneath that, it says, "How about a home & home series with UCF?"

Florida Gov. Rick Scott even signed a proclamation Monday before the College Football Playoff National Championship, declaring UCF the national champions. And don't underestimate Nick Saban's ability to drum up the "disrespect" angle as well.

"Thanks to the City of Orlando and Mayor Dyer for helping make this national championship celebration special for our student-athletes and fans", Knights athletic director Danny White said in a release from the school.

Alabama (13-1, 7-1 SEC) finished No. 1 in the season's final AP Top 25 Poll following its 26-23 overtime win over Georgia on Monday night. SEC fans can laugh all they want, but you can't argue with UCF until Alabama beats them. The Crimson Tide received 57 of 61 first-place votes from the media panel.
