Saeed is an internationally designated terrorist even though he is influential in Pakistan amongst certain religious groups.

He said brutal force and propaganda cannot gag the voice of freedom, nor it can alter Pakistan's resolute and principled stance on Kashmir.

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has said that Kashmir issue was not just a territorial dispute but a question of people's inherent right to self-determination.

He said the dream of peace and prosperity in the region will remain elusive without resolving the Kashmir dispute. Pakistani leaders as well as forces personnel always have an eye out for the Kashmiris.

"Kashmir and Palestine are the two oldest issues on the UN agenda and UN resolutions on the Kashmir issue clearly state that the Kashmiri people will decide their fate in a UN supervised plebiscite".

Delivering a speech, Ambassador Asif Durrani paid tribute to the "valiant" people of Kashmir who have laid down their lives in the struggle for "attaining their right to self-determination".

Thanking Pakistan for observing Kashmir Solidarity Day, and reiterating its full support to the oppressed Kashmiris, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) today said that Pakistan is the only country which supports Kashmiri people unconditionally.

Pakistan has called on the global community to pressure India to end its brutalities and gross human rights violations in the occupied Kashmir.

Kashmiris considered themselves Pakistani and wanted to live under the Pakistani flag, he added.

"Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi should stage a sit-in along with at least five members of his Cabinet outside the office of the United Nations on February 5 to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people", he said.
