Airline Air Canada has confirmed that a system failure has led to maintenance problems, causing passengers during spring break have to deal with long queues and flight delays.

The company posted to it's Twitter feed that they're working to restore service as quickly as possible.

According to reports from multiple airports, including Toronto and Calgary, Air Canada is now experiencing a network outage nationwide with its computer system across the country.

The carrier apologized for the inconvenience and resolved the issue in a couple of hours. Reports are coming in from travellers worldwide, saying their Air Canada planes have been grounded.

The Air Canada AC8060 departure at 10 a.m. was cancelled and the airport is reporting that others may be facing delays.
