Light snow possible tonight, weather service says

While Monday is expected to be partly sunny and breezy, with highs in the low to mid-40s, a nor'easter is expected to bring snow into the area Wednesday, possibly as much as 1 to 3 inches, according to AccuWeather.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 29.

Before a mix of snow and rain comes to the area on Tuesday, we can expect a couple of pleasant days.

A 20 percent chance of snow after midnight. It's going to stay windy, out of the northwest, from 20 to 40 miles per hour. A north northwest wind will be 18 to 23 miles per hour, decreasing to 10 to 15 miles per hour after midnight. Wind: NW 10-15 miles per hour.• WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and cooler.

Tuesday, there is a 20 percent chance of showers after noon, with a high near 43, the weather service said.

Friday will be mostly sunny and in the low 40s, the weather service said. Wind chill values as low as -5.

There also is a chance of snow showers Thursday night.

Temperatures will be below the freezing mark overnight when the snow begins, but will rise to the mid-30s during the day Wednesday. Winds could gust as high as 39 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent.
